"You were brilliant to work with... Great understanding of what we were trying to achieve, surpassing our own expectations." Anna Burkey, Communications & Events Co-ordinator, Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust
What a dream commission: a trailer for the 2010 Edinburgh reading campaign Carry a Poem. The brief was for something playful and a wee bit subversive to complement the planned poetry book and appeal to a secondary school audience.
We pitched the idea of covering an Edinburgh street with poetry murals and were delighted to get an enthusiastic response. The production process was great fun - it involved chats with the Scottish Poetry Library, designing urban art and working with illustrator Emily Isles.
The finished trailer screened online, in libraries and schools, on buses, and on the BBC Big Screen in Edinburgh's Festival Square during February 2010.
