This 50-second advert was produced for the Edinburgh International Film Audiences Conference. It was commissioned to be screened in Edinburgh Filmhouse's cafe/bar, to get the attention of cinema-goers. It's also being shown at Edinburgh Film Guild screenings.
It uses a different technique to most of our work - 2D paper cut-outs rather than 3D computer-generated animation. This allowed us to complete the piece very quickly and economically.
The finished advert is quirky and informative. It speaks directly to the target audience - the "movie heroes" who watch films. The organisers hope to see some of them at the conference in March 2011.
