“An invaluable tool for us as a small charity”
Michelle Lowe, Development Manager, Refugee Survival Trust
Destitution, our third Free Fridays project, tells the stories of refugees and asylum seekers in Scotland who have been left hungry and homeless. Our goal was to tell true stories in a memorable way, giving viewers strong visual images of the complex issues involved.
Refugee Survival Trust (RST) are a small Scottish charity. They'll be using the three-minute film:
- At talks - the RST's talk ambassadors visit a wide range of groups to talk about the charity's work.
- At fundraising events.
- Online - on the RST website and blog, on facebook and on twitter.
According to Development Manager Michelle Lowe, "[Show Them Pictures] made us a brilliant animation which explains what we do better than I have ever managed to!”
