Port of Leith Housing Association commissioned us to produce marketing illustrations of their shared housing development, Link 6. The striking design includes roofs angled for solar panels and a leafy central courtyard.
It was important to get the two colours of brickwork right, so we worked from brick samples. It's always interesting to see how much variation there is over a sample board - in this case, both the red and the buff bricks vary a lot. We wouldn't have been able to get it right from either a single brick or a small brochure photo. Working with good materials samples helps us to get great results.
